ATHLETICS REMINDER: Football practice begins NEXT WEEK (July 28). You must have all your paperwork and AIA tests completed before you can step onto the field. As of July 21, 9:00 a.m., only one person has completed all the requirements.

Hey Frogs!! Don't forget, you MUST have your athletic paperwork turned in to the office, including an updated physical on the 25-26 AIA form, before you may begin fall practice! Football practice officially begins on July 28th, and volleyball begins on August 11th. Packets are available for pickup in the front office. Coach McCarty also has them available.

Reminder: School Registration Day is July 31st!
To avoid delays, all students should submit their registration forms before that date. Early submission = faster processing!

SHS alumni we need your help!

The SHS delegation is seated on ready for take off for the national student council conference. Thank you so much to everyone who supported our council either through donations, hosting events, or attending our fundraisers. We are planning on delivering a thank you gift to those of you who made this trip possible by helping us hit our fundraising goal, but we wanted to post this quick thank you now!!!

Silent auction and burger fry are live at Tio G's. Get a burger a drink and chips for $10!

Tio G’s Burger Fry Fundraiser for SHS StuCo! Join us this Saturday evening starting at 7:30 PM for a delicious burger fry hosted by Tio G’s, located right across the road from Salome Restaurant. All proceeds will go to SHS Student Council to help send students to camp and support them throughout the year with training and school events. There will also be a silent auction with great items up for grabs—come place your bids and show your support! This event is happening alongside the evening Poker Run, so swing by and enjoy a fun night for a great cause!

StuCo will be selling Krispy Kreme Dounuts at Dollar General in Salome this Monday to make money for camp. We'll be picking them up fresh that morning and selling them starting around 9:30 am and go until they're gone. Come grab some fresh donuts to start off your day!!!

Staff Highlight: Over the weekend, our Spanish and Art teacher (and proud Frog alumnus), Mr. Soto, showcased his extraordinary artistic talents competing at the Maricopa County Home & Flower Show. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Because of your incredible support, we’re getting much closer to our goal! We now have just $3,355 left to raise to send our students to various camps this summer. A huge shoutout to everyone who supported our car wash this weekend, to the AZ Desert Riders for their generous donation, and to both the Salome Lions Club and Salome VFW for sponsoring students to attend the HOBY camp in Phoenix this year. We have more fundraisers coming up, and we’re excited to keep pushing forward—but in the meantime, we also want to reach out to see if any individuals or organizations would like to directly help send these kids to camp. Two students are heading to the amazing Arizona camp in Prescott, and three are working their tails off to attend the National Student Council Leadership Camp in Oklahoma City. We are so proud of our school and our students! Salome HS was recognized by Arizona Western College as a Partner for Progress. SHS students are taking advantage of opportunities provided by AWC to earn college credit while still in high school. Five Frogs were recognized this evening for completing one or more college courses through AWC. Graduating Senior Abi Martinez attended the event and was recognized for her hard work. The four additional students recognized in the program were Tyler Avila, Cesar Leon, Grecia Leon, and Sophia Pantoja. Great work, Frogs! 🐸
