We are thrilled to announce a momentous milestone in our school’s history—Salome High School is celebrating 70 years of Frogs! As proud members of the Fighting Frog family and a school that serves the incredible communities of Salome, Wenden, Aguila, Bouse, Vicksburg, Quartzsite, Ehrenberg, and Cibola, we invite you to join us in commemorating this historic occasion during Homecoming Week, culminating on Friday, October 3, 2025.
Over the past seven decades, Salome High School has built a legacy of academic achievement, athletic excellence, and community pride. This 70th anniversary is more than a milestone—it’s a celebration of the students, families, alumni, and local partners who have helped shape our school’s story since 1955.
To honor this legacy, we’re planning a weeklong celebration filled with school spirit, reunions, and community events. But to truly bring this celebration to life, we need your help.
To make this event as meaningful and impactful as possible, we are seeking support and participation from local businesses and community members. Whether it's through themed promotions, window displays, event sponsorships, alumni specials, or simply helping spread the word, your involvement will help make this celebration unforgettable.
Here are just a few ways you or your organization may participate:
Decorate your storefront in green and white or with frog-themed décor during homecoming week
Offer special discounts to alumni or attendees wearing SHS gear
Sponsor an event or contribute items for giveaways
Host an alumni meet-up or gathering at your business
Feature SHS history or memorabilia in your business for the week
We are also putting together a list of participating businesses to promote in our event materials and on social media. If you are interested in participating or have ideas of your own, please contact us before August 28, 2025 so we can begin coordinating and promoting early.
